Colorful Refrigerators For The Kitchen

I visited some of my favourite home design blogs earlier today and was rather frustrated because it took me quite a while to load some of the sites.  I like to open a few tabs and jump from one blog to another but my notebook is just too slow.  It took about 5 minutes before I could see the photos or pictures of some of the sites.  I guess I have to upgrade my notebook memory. Well, after seeing Amana’s Colorful Fridge Line, I forgot about the frustration I felt earlier.

Amana is a popular refrigerator company which is offering a variety of colorful refrigerators to give your kitchen an updated look.  At a recent International Builders’ Show, Amana offered 10 different concept refrigerators which were a collaboration between Amana brand ambassador Thom Filicia (Interior Design Expert from the popular show – Queer Eye For The Straight Guy) and the Amana design team.  They are still unsure which design to debut first so they are requesting a survey from design enthusiasts to rank their favourite fridge design.  Once you have chosen your favourite, the site will let you know what your choice reveals about you.  Pretty cool huh?  I cannot wait to see this range of refrigerators in the market.  It will be fun to have a funky refrigerator to add some colors to the kitchen.  Check out Amanacolor.com and take the personality quiz.

I just found this great wall mounted bookshelf for my Amazon books. The Flybrary Bookshelf from SmartFurniture.com hangs books in mid-air.  Just turn to the center of your book and slip it over the powder-coated metal strips.  The Flybrary will hold twelve books (up to 20 pounds) in place without any visible support.  What a unique and stylish way to keep your books.  If you are short on floor space, this Flybrary Bookshelf is just the thing you need.

A friend of mine is looking for a house at one of the commercial real estate listing services.  She shortlisted a few houses that she like and went to view one of them yesterday.  My friend told me that the house she saw was very beautiful and tastefully decorated.  What caught her eye was the owner uses many canvas arts on the walls around the house.  Using canvas arts is one of the most impressive and affordable ways to spruce up your home.  If you want to add a natural touch to your humble abode, then this Myah canvas set from Welldressedhome.com is just the right choice.  It is elegant and simple. Check out their website for more details.

How is that for a bedside table? Isn’t this the most amazing nightstand you have ever seen?  I just absolutely adore it eventhough I have the impulse to straighten things up. The Pile Of Books Table was designed by Josefin Hellström-Olsson. It is so creative and unique.  A great bedside table for those who love whimsical items and those who have a clean modern look home. Lots of space to stash your favourite book or magazines in the cubbies, place your glass of water on it, your reading glasses and even your precious Patek Philippe watch before you go to bed.  Functional and beautiful.   Check it out at beckmans.se.
