I was blog-hopping and found this interesting quiz from Ikea.  I am sure fans of this Swedish furniture store will be glad to take part in this quiz which will tell you what your design style is. You will be asked a series of questions such as favorite color, pattern, the type of style you want to achieve such as rustic, urban, minimalist and more.  It is quite fun for me as I am an Ikea fan.  I came up “Scandinavian Minimalist” and was 80% Scandinavian and 20% Country.  Hmm….interesting.  So all you Ikea fans out there who want to know what is your favorite Ikea style, well just go ahead and participate.  You don’t have to be Mesothelioma lawyers in order to find that out.

I came across this funky contemporary rug known as Flying Carpet from Nanimarquina a few days ago and I am totally in love with it.  This stylish rug concept uses large wedges to prop up and make a lounging area.  It looks more like a piece of furniture than a rug to me.  Made from pure New Zealand wool fibre, The Flying Carpet is available in Red, Green & Grey.  It is such a clever carpet design and looks great in the homes of those who are into whimsical stuff.  I can just picture myself relaxing comfortably on the Flying Carpet and reading a book or Lipofuze reviews or just chilling.

Recently I was invited to a friend’s house for lunch and while I was there, we chatted about ancestry dna and she is very interested in finding more about her heritage.  Whilst I was there, I cannot help but notice her birdcage table lamp in her living room.  It is so whimsical and colourful.  The birdcage is covered in a velvet-like material and are available in 3 colors.  My friend bought this gorgeous birdcage from Dutchbydesign.com.

I am really losing sleep on how to decorate my stairway wall.
