Furnishing My Home!

I am helping a friend of mine to look for cardboard displays for her new shop.  Just a couple of weeks ago, I was invited to her home for dinner with a few close friends.  My friend is a big fan of sushi and we had that for dinner.  I was delighted to see the cute Sushi Service set she used.  The set comes with a dipping bowl, a set of chopstick, a chopstick holder character and a serving plate.  Each piece is separable.  The Sushi Service sets were the topic of our conversation that night. I really don’t mind having a set or two at home.  If you know of sushi fan’s birthday coming, this makes a very nice gift.  Great for housewarming gift too

I just realized that I do not have a fire extinguisher in my house.  It is important to have one at home in case of emergency.  This is a fire extinguisher that I won’t mind having at home.

I have been away for a couple of days for my vacation.  Had a wonderful time.  There is nothing like the sea to calm and soothe the soul and give us a perfect relaxation.   I love the white sand, the cool breeze and the roaring waves.  I really enjoyed taking a leisurely stroll on the beach in the morning.  Besides rejuvenating, I also ate a lot during this vacation.  I could not resist the barbeque by the pool, the all-you-can-eat buffet breakfast and dinner.  I definitely need colon cleansing to detoxify my body and lose some of the weight that I have gained over the past few days.

Check out this lovely bamboo steamer basket.  Isn’t it cool?  Reminds me of the one I saw in a hotel some time back.  When I entered the hotel room, I was greeted with some fruits in a steamer basket like the above.   This steamer basket can be used as a centerpiece on the dining table or use to hold car keys.  There are many other ways to use it.  I love having items made of bamboo around my house.  Now, talking about hotel, I better check out Westgate and book our family’s vacation this summer.  Time to relax and enjoy the warm weather.
