My friend and her husband has just moved into a 1100 sq. apartment.  They used to live in a 2-storey house but decided to get an apartment instead as there is less work.  Her husband was diagnosed with malignant Mesothelioma last year. A smaller living space is better as there is less work to do.  I visited her last week and her apartment was tastefully decorated.  There was this simple and stylish varnished shelving unit on her wall.  A great way to solve storage needs as well as decorating the wall.  My friend got them from Generate Design.

My cousin is planning to throw a birthday party for her 10 year old daughter next month.  She is doing all the planning herself, from sending out invitations to decorating her home for the party.  My cousin wanted a dessert table and  was browsing the internet for ideas and when she laid her eyes on the The Birthday Dessert Table by Army Atlas.  Immediately, she knew it was the perfect one.  The table is filled with wirly meringues, striped and dotted cookies, colorful cupcakes and twisted marshmallows.  When she showed me the picture below, I was mesmerized too.  What a beautiful and fancy dessert table.  The party favor bags will be filled with pink and red candy and hung on a board for guests to take.  Simply awesome.  I know I will be stuffing myself silly with cookies and cupcakes at the party.  I would need to get the best weight loss supplements to lose those extra pounds.  This is what happen when I have a sweet tooth. If you want a stress-less and memorable event, then check out Amy Atlas’s beautiful and delicious desserts.

Casual outdoor space that is simple and nice.  I love the colorful cushions from Pottery Barn, the vintage metal glider and the wooden coffee table.

This room has a Southwestern look.  The cozy sitting area with fireplace is just great for a warm or chilly night in the desert.

This outdoor porch has been converted into a screened porch.  I love the bamboo chairs, the color of the floor and the ceiling.

This outdoor patio looks so classy.  The rattan ottomans, the wooden coffee table and the wicker sofas match perfectly.

All the photos are from House Beautiful.

I dislike seeing messy cables everywhere in my house.  They are cluttering my tables and my floor.  When I found out about Bluelounge – CableDrop, I was thrilled.  CableDrop gently grasps the cord so that they won’t fall off easily.  They come in a few colors so they can blend well with your decor.   Say goodbye to messy cables with CableDrop.  All you have to do is just peel and stick. How easy is that?
