My sister is planning to renovate her 1500 sq. ft. condominium and has been looking around for some nice kitchen sinks and kitchen faucets.  She asked me if I know of any good brands and while surfing the internet today, I stumbled upon Faucet.com.  This online store has a wide selection of quality faucets at affordable prices.  Some of the brand names which they carry are Kohler, Danze, Moen, Grohe and many more.  My favorite is this Kohler Pull Out Spray Kitchen Faucet.  I wonder if my sister would like it.  So, if you are shopping for some sinks for your kitchen or bathroom, do swing by Faucet.com.

I have just returned from the housewarming party.  My friend’s apartment is just fabulous.  It is so tastefully decorated and I am so inspired.  Everything is so neat and organized.  Her apartment is about 1500 sq. ft with 3 bedroom and 2 baths.  The balcony overlooks the park.  Besides admiring her apartment, I had a great time eating there too.  The food was just superb.  I really need to take some weight loss pills now.  I left my camera at home today so I couldn’t snap any photos of my friend’s apartment.  What a bummer.

I have been invited to a housewarming party this coming weekend.  Yes, you heard me correctly….another housewarming party.  Don’t get me wrong.  I love housewarming parties.  I love to see how the hosts/hostesses homes are decorated.  This coming party is organized by a former co-worker who has just bougtht a new apartment with her husband.  Boy, am I going to need some appetite suppressant as her husband is a chef at one of the well-known restaurants in the city.  Bet he is going to cook up a storm.  Well, I have just bought the housewarming gift for them.  I am so bowled over by these palette bowls in orange or mustard hi-gloss polyresin.   They can be used to serve food or just leave it on the table as a decoration.  They do not take up much space anyway.  Available at CB2.com.

I have a problem with keeping my stuff in my home because of lack of space.  Just the other day, my husband was planning to get a ladder but I was against it because of storage problem.  I am so glad that I managed to find this amazing foldable ladder from home-solutions.hsn.com.  It can be easily slip inside the closet or behind the door, without taking up any space.  This 5-foot compact folding ladder is sturdy, light-weight and has anodized aluminum construction.   It holds a maximum weight capacity 225 lbs.  I am sure my husband would be happy when I tell him that he can purchase a ladder now.  If you are short of space, this ladder is just perfect.

I spotted this lovely room from one of my favorite blogs, Apartment Therapy which featured a room by an Urban Outffters designer for his first daughter.  It is a really fun room with wall murals which he painted.

The wall murals

This is how the whole room looks like

The room also features a colorful bird mobile.  I love this very much. Just like those awesome truck accessories, this mobile is a great addition to the room.  It was handmade by the anthropologie team for the baby.  So sweet.  You can view more photos at grayhood.com.

I was looking around at those lovely Atlanta apartments and something caught my eyes. In one of the apartments, the owner has actually decorated her bare walls with beautiful crocheted pot holders from Emma Lamb. Isn’t that a brilliant idea?  The crocheted pot holders are a stunning work of art.  They look kind of vintage and are just perfect for the modern homes.    These colorful crocheted pot holders are a  great way to jazz up a boring wall.  I ought to get some for my staircase landing wall.
