I was talking to my friend earlier about Ikea furniture.  Both of us are big Ikea fans.  We just love everything about them…their furniture, the food they serve at the cafe and also their staff.  They are so friendly and helpful.  I think Ikea does a good job on the employee screening.  My friend was telling me that she found a superb blog called Ikea Hacker which features creative twists to Ikea furniture & accessories.   One of the contributors used ten Malma mirrors, some emulsion and a pattern, and turn them into decorative mirrors for the wall.  How cool is that?

I like notice boards because I like to pin up photos or quotes which inspire me.  My notice board is full of yellow stickies too because I can be rather forgetful.  If you are looking for a notice board to write your thoughts, messages or reminders like “Remember to buy hgh releasers“, here are two small boards for narrow wall spaces.  Great for those who are short on space.  I really don’t mind getting the pink ones because they are pretty striking.   Available at Huset-shop.com.

I love this striking decorative stool which is made from earthenware. It has an elegant cutout design and is beautifully finished in a fresh duck egg shade.  Don’t you just love the color?  This stool can be used as a side table or coffee table.  When you have guests over and need extra chairs, just use this stool.  I can just picture myself sitting on the stool, reading about the adipex side effects while sipping my tea. If you wish to add some Asian flair to your living space, then this glazed stool is just the thing you need.  Get one now from Lombok.co.uk.

I do not like a messy home.  Somehow it is not easy to keep things neat and tidy especially when you have children.  There are endless of toys everywhere and then there are also lots of paperwork because my spouse works from home. I always love knicks-knacks that can help to clear some clutter around the home such as this GearGripper.  It is great for holding the cellphone, glasses, digital cameras and perhaps even your Michael Kors leather gloves.  The waved GearGripper has a soft foam base with a formable core.  Check out Expo Design Inc. for more information.

Furniture For Children’s Room

Decorating a child’s bedroom is pretty different from decorating an adult’s room.  A bedroom to children is a place where they play, sleep, read or just to be alone.  If you are planning to decorate or set up your child’s bedroom, a great place to shop for children’s furniture is Generate Design (www.Gnr8.biz).   They have a great selection of high quality children’s furniture.  I was surfing its website and came across a few items which I think are pretty nice.  One is the Galap Rocker made of Baltic birch ply.  It supports up to 250 pounds, non-toxic and durable.

I also like The Kapsule Chair very much because it is so colorful.  This sturdy chair separates into two pieces and is very child friendly.

The Petra Toddler Bed is cute bed which allows the toddler to sleep comfortably until they are ready for a bigger bed.  It is low with 8″ platform and has detachable guard rails to keep them from falling out.  It is recommended for kids from 15 months and up to 50 pounds. Made from sustainable materials and toxic-free glues and lacquers.

The holiday season is over and after a lot of sumptuous meals, I can feel that my pants is a bit tighter.  Time to take some adipex diet pill to burn some fat.  I must really jot this down.  At one of the dinner parties I attended over the past week, I can’t help but notice the simple menus on the dinner table.  What the host did was to print the menus on brown paper bag.  What a fabulous idea to reuse and recycle!  It is so simple and yet stylish.  I managed to get hold of the host and told her just how marvellous her idea is and she said she got the idea from Sunday-suppers.blogspot.com.  Here are some photos from Sunday Suppers.  I love it!
