I have been invited to my cousin’s housewarming next weekend.  She has moved into an apartment downtown with her husband.  I was deciding if I should get her a personalized gift or this lovely In Bloom Mobile from 1000Markets.com. My husband thinks that my cousin would like this Bloom Mobile as it is pretty enchanting.  Each blossom shape is hand cut and come in a variety of pastel yellow, orange and pink. It is definitely a great addition to any home.

Ways To Decorate The Entryway

My friend has just moved into her new home about a month ago.  We were chatting a few nights ago and she asked me I could give her ideas on how to decorate her entryway.  The entryway is an important part of a home because this is the first place which guests would get to see as soon as they step into your home. Decorating the entryway need not be expensive.  One can have one wall painted in bold color which is a great way to create an impact.   It is also important to keep the entryway clutter-free.  Therefore, placing a huge bench or your fitness equipment in that space is a no-no.  You may add a decorative table at the entryway as it serves as a great focal point.  It is also a place for you to hold your keys, wallet, coins, etc.  A mirror can also add a sparkle to a dull entryway.  Below are some gorgeous entryways from Apartment Therapy and DesireToInspire.net.

I love the decor in this girl’s bedroom.  I was blog-hopping and saw this beautifully decorated bedroom at SpearMintBaby.com.  It is simple and sweet.   I am sure my soon to be five year old would love to have a room like this.  She has been asking for her own room and telling me that she wants something pink in her room.  We even bought the same pink flower lamp from Ikea as shown in the photos below.

Watch A Fistful Of Stances Online

When I was visiting one of the entertainment sites last night, I discovered a new drama called A Fistful of Stances. It is a comedy traditional drama with 25 episodes.  I cannot wait to watch this online because my favorite actors and actresses are in this drama.  They are Selina Li, Kevin Cheng, Yuen Wah and Kenneth Ma.

Before I start watching this drama on my laptop, I would need to get a good chair first.  I was looking around and came across this cool Think Chair from Steel Case.  Its seat and back flexors conforms to the body as we move.  It also has the mechanism to provide smooth recline support in proportion to our weight.

A pretty nice chair and it looks so comfortable.  I can spend hours sitting on this chair to do my work on the laptop, read the murad review or watch A Fistful of Stances online.

Fancy a sitting on a shopping cart? I came across this interesting chair and table made from recycled shopping carts from design-milk.com.  Taking everyday objects and turning them into cool functional furniture is a brilliant idea.  LA Designer, Ramon Coronado came up with a twelve-week project called Mercardo Negro which is about transforming an everyday object into a completely new one.  What he did was he disassembled shopping carts and used the parts to create a chair, lamp, table and even a cute swing.  I would love to have this set of furniture in my home.  I can picture myself sitting on the chair , reading the colonix review. The swing would look great in my backyard.

Belgian designer brand, Quinze and Milan from Belgium have just came out with the world’s first sofa covered with pockets and zips for backpack company Eastpak.  They have certainly taken the sofa creation to the next level.  Made from heavy fabric which is synonymous with Eastpak product characteristics, this Built to Resi(s)t furniture also feature zippers, handles and popular prints.  My good friend is a great fan of Eastpak products and I am sure she won’t hesitate to get one for her living room.  I can just picture her sitting on this Built To Resi(s)t sofa reading her appetite suppressant reviews, watching tv or just relaxing with a cup of tea.

The kitchen is a place where you spend most of the time. Keeping it organized is a never-ending job.  If you have a messy pantry and are looking for ways to keep it organized and clean, here are a few ideas on how to do it.

Place a handy utensil holder near the stove for convenience.  That way, you do not have to reach far for your cooking utensils when you are cooking up a storm.

Store your flour, sugar, salt, prenatal vitamin, pasta and more in airtight containers

This is a great and innovative space saving over the cabinet bag holder.  It helps to reduce clutter by storing plastic shopping bags neatly.

This Over the Drawer/Cabinet Basket by Spectrum is another functional accessory for holding sponges and other small kitchen supplies.  Made from strong and durable acrylic, this space saving knick-knack compliments most kitchen or bathroom decor.
