I was at Country Living and found some really cool ideas on how to decorate the home with recycled material. They are so inspiring. I would like to share a few of my favourite ideas here with you.
Using Fork and Spoon as door pulls. Wish I knew of this idea when I wanted to give my old kitchen cabinet a makeover.
CD Case Display. Instead of throwing out the plastic cd cases, they can be mounted on the wall with your favourite picture.
Using colourful ceramic bowls as lampshades
Recycling tea tins into candle
I was at Apartment Therapy’s website just now before I put on some eczema cream and came upon a ranch house tour. The house is just beautiful. I love how the owners have decorated it. The home has an open layout with lots of natural light. What caught my eyes are a few things which the owners used around the home. My favourite is the antique chicken coop bought from the flea market which is used as a shoe cabinet. How cool is that? I also love the long white dining table with a wooden bench and red chairs from Ikea. I can so live in this house. Another thing which I love is how the owners decorated the wall with a collage of photographs. The home is filled with things that the owners love.

I am supposed to look for the best weight loss supplement for a friend but I thought I would share this awesome tips with you first. I just love this cool DIY idea from ReadyMade.com on how to create your own bedside table. The great thing about this is that no tools are required! All you need are 2 wooden bottle crates and 4 beer or coke bottles. Stack the crates upside down. Then carefully slide the 4 bottles into slots at each of the four corners. Voila, a very retro bedside table. What a fantastic idea!
I saw a really cool idea on how to store your wine from ReadyMade.com. All you need are cardboard mailing tubes. First, measure the space you want to install the wine rack. Then mark and measure the tubes in increments of 9″ (standard size for all wine bottles). Cut the tubes along the marks with the handsaw. You may paint the tubes too if you like.
I love to having rattan or seagrass baskets around my home. They are so handy and aesthetically pleasing. I buy baskets of different shapes and sizes and they are in my living area, bathroom, kitchen, etc. I found several images of baskets in my favourite decor blogs and I just love them.
I heart the open shelving filled with baskets to keep things organized in the kitchen. They are great for storing kitchen towels, household supplies, appetite suppressant pills or more. Image via Design Sponge.

An entryway is that first part of the house your visitor sees and make an impression. It is also a place where you keep your mail, keys, store your shoes and coats. Some people like to have a chair or a bench at the entryway to make wearing boots easier or to sit and read the papers or tren xtreme reviews while waiting for the rest of the family to get ready. If you are looking for some ideas on how to add a bit of a personality to your entryway, well look no further. Below are some stylish entryway decor from DesignSponge.com.
Here is a very clever way to create a focal point in your home. I saw this image at SkonaHem.com. I like how the books are stacked haphazardly on top one another. One of the books is opened with some pages rolled in. Pretty I say. Complete the look with 2 lamps sans the shades. Hmm…I think I am going to give this a try in my home.
Do you know what I love about the above photo? Everything! I saw this at one of my favourite decor blogs, Simply Grove a while ago. I love how the flour and grain sacks are used as pillow covers. They go so well with the wooden sofa. Can you spot the pallets? They are stacked together to create a coffee table. How cool is that? The little red lantern at the side adds a lil Asian touch to the decor. Would love to a similar sofa in my home. I can so picture myself sitting on it, reading a book or strivectin sd reviews while sipping a cup of coffee. Bliss.
While my other half was busy shopping online for tablet laptops, I was on the other computer looking for a housewarming gift for my friend. She has just moved into her first home, a split unit condominium in the city with her husband. I really like this Float Magazine Rack from SF Moma Museum Store. Made of chrome coated steel, this rack is modern and has a minimalist design. A unique way to keep the magazines organized. Check out SF Moma Museum Store if you like one for your home too.
