Hey Peeps.  Christmas has come and gone.  I hope you all had a great time.  In a few days’ time, we will be saying goodbye to 2011 and usher in the new year.  One of the things in my to-do list for the new year is to get my home organized.  My kitchen is on top of the list and then followed by my closet and the shoe closet.  I was looking for some inspiration at Apartment Therapy and found some really nice and organized kitchens.  Below are my favourites.

Before I start to iron the medical uniforms, let me tell you something about what I want this Christmas. Being a big fan of home decor or you can say that I am a decoraholic, I love receiving gifts that are meant for my humble abode.  I especially love handmade items.  So, for those who are still trying to figure out what to get for me, here are some hints *tee hee*

I was at Sundance and saw a few items which are great for decorating the home this Christmas.  If you are looking for some decor ideas, then do check them out.  Here are my favourites.

Remember that I mentioned earlier about my friend who is renovating her home and her favourite colours are yellow and gray?  I just saw some really great bedding products at Rough Linen.  These fine bedlinens are made from natural linen.  I just love its texture.  I think my friend would be interested in getting them for her newly renovated home.  Actually I don’t mind getting them a linen set or ms70 gold eagles as housewarming gifts. The photo below is from Rough Linen’s website.  I love how driftwoods are used as headboard.

I love shopping for gifts, whether it is for birthdays, anniversaries, housewarming or Christmas.  The next best thing after shopping is wrapping them.  I get lots of inspiration on gift-wrapping from Pinterest.   Having said that, I do find it quite difficult to shop for gifts for boys. Do you have this problem too?  Well, maybe it is because I do not have a son so I do not really know what they like.    Anyway, I just came across something really nice at Sundance.  It is a Doggone Dogbone Wreath that is handcrafted in felted wool.  This is a very cute wreath for a dog lover’s home.

I saw this simple bedroom at Simply Grove and fell in love with it.  The whole bedroom is in white including the wooden floor.  I would love to have a bedroom like this.   The colourful cushions are just perfect to give the room a a splash of colours. Love it!
