While browsing my favorite home decor blogs, I can’t help but noticed some very beautiful decors.  Looking at these blogs is a beautiful adventure for me.  They really gave me lots of inspiration on how to decorate my home.  Some of my favorites are these…

I saw a really lovely organizer from Pottery Barn recently.  This organizer was inspired by the ones used at the front-desk in hotels.  It is great to be used to display photos or any knick-knacks in your living area, for the office or even as kitchen storage.  Each cubbies is detailed with hand-painted numbers.   Finished with a rich stain that highlights the wood’s natural grain, I love its distressed look.   Want to find out more? Just go here.

I love to look at the kitchens in other people’s home.  They give me an idea on how to decorate mine.  Well, if I have the chance, I would want to renovate my existing kitchen because I do not quite like mine.  The kitchens below really inspire me.  I saw them at one of my favorite home decor blogs but I forgot which one.

Bamboo Steamers As Storage Bins

I just love this idea from Martha Stewart’s blog.   If you don’t know already, I love using furniture or knick-knacks made from bamboo or wood.  I was going through some tips on how to organize the kitchen at Martha’s blog, I was delighted to see how she use a bamboo steamer to store onions, shallots and garlic.  How come I never thought of using this eh?  Bamboo steamers have holes which let the air in or out when steaming.  Therefore, these steamers are just perfect for storing items which require ventilation.   You can place a tray or plate at the bottom to catch flaking skins or perhaps line it with paper towels.  Ok, I am going out to get a few bamboo steamers soon.

Are you looking for ideas on how to organize your kitchen? When you are organized, you can save money, time, waste and stress.  I love it when my kitchen is organized and clean.  We always need more storage space in our home, especially the kitchen.  I rely on many knick-knacks to create more storage space in my kitchen.  I love using storage containers to keep the paper towels, cookie cutters, coffee filters, womens diet pills, kids’ snacks or more.   Here are some fabulous items which I found in Umbra which can help you to do just that.

You can accessorize your sink with this sink caddy.

Sink rack dish rack. Practical for those with limited counter space.

Pivo Storage Tray – handy for keeping small items

Small lattice caddy to hold the sponge.

This beautiful house in Denmark which I chanced upon at Design-Shimmer.blogspot.com is a house that I would love to stay in.  I heart its decor.  The walls, floors, doors and windows are in shades of white.  This house has a rustic look and I just love the wicker baskets around the house.  The wood furniture and brown rugs add some earthy tones in the house.  I can picture myself sitting at the dining table, enjoying my cuppa or simply reading a book or my face cream reviews. Pure bliss.

I am running out of room in my kitchen cabinets.  I have a lot of height space in the cabinet and the best solution to maximize this space is to use a metal mesh cabinet shelf.  Like diet pills that work, this shelf is just what I need to organize my cups, plates, saucers and more.  Besides kitchen cabinets, they can be used in the refrigerator to organize soda cans and many more.  I think I am going to get a few of these metal mesh cabinet shelves.  Check out Stacksandstacks.com for more great ideas on how to organize your kitchen.

I was blog-hopping last night and came across some really cool knicks-knacks for the home.  Thought I’ll share them with you.  Just like my reaction when I finally found cheap insurance for my car, I was so delighted and would love to have them around my home.

Hanging Butterflies.  A great way to decorate the window in the bedroom, the playroom or the kitchen.

A cute 3D jigsaw tree which features 2 birds, a birdhouse and mushrooms.  This beautiful tree is made from recycled and biodegradable paper.

A stylish Herb and Flower Dryer.

A charming door stopper which is filled with organic wheat and lavender.  Pretty and makes the room smelling fresh.

A retro wire mailbox to hold mails or bills.
