I am loving this Front Facing Bookshelf. It is actually a wood pallet that has been repurposed to a book shelf. Before I look for my olympus camera batteries, let me share with you what I just came across a while ago. I was at House To Home website and saw a few beautiful home images which I would love for my home to be like. They are very inspiring.

I would love to have an exposed brickwall inside my house or on the porch.

An all-white kitchen filled with rustic furniture such as the vintage wood table and cupboard.

I love the all-white living room with a splash of colours from the furniture.

I was at OhDeeDoh and saw this cute coffee table made from cable spool. You know how much I love furniture or knick-knacks made from recycled items eh? Not only is this a great idea as table, I also love how this wooden cable spool offers storage for books around the edge. Very inspiring. If only I can get my hands one. I would love to turn it into bedside table for me where I can lay down my glacier sunglasses, a vase and a cup of coffee.

I just saw a few beautifully decorated space at Skonahem.com. They are so inspiring.

I love the white sofa with lots of colourful cushion. I think I can lounge there the whole day.

I like the island and the sofa in the kitchen. If I am not mistaken, the dining area is outdoor or perhaps in a little indoor garden on the right of the kitchen. Love that.

So loving the wooden flooring and the potted plants at the balcony. The bright and airy space is just beautiful.

Enjoying The Last Few Days Of Summer

Oh we are almost at the end of August already. Looks like summer is going to end soon. Where has the time gone? I love this image which I saw at Simply Grove. It reminds me of summer a lot. I always love a home with bright and airy windows. I just can’t get enough of the natural light in the home. The home decor is so simple and cozy. Check out the colourful sofas. They look so comfortable too. It would be wonderful just to relax in a home like this on a warm summer night, reading a book or watching tv while the kids are playing on the nintendo ds. Bliss.

A couple of days ago, I received one of the cutest birthday party invitations ever. It has a picture of an elephant on the card. Well lately, I am just crazy over elephants. These gentle giants just make my heart melt. I have since jumped on the elephant bandwagon and have been looking around for elephant decors for my home. I am supposed to check out the eotech sights as a Father’s Day gift but I thought I’ll share with you what I really want this summer. It is none other than a hammock. I just love lounging in one. A hammock is so relaxing. There is nothing better than resting on a hammock, reading a book or just do nothing. It would be great to have one inside the house. Yeah, I know a hammock is usually on the porch but I would prefer some privacy. I saw this photo at Apartment Therapy earlier today.
